Solar Hybrid Cell Phone by NCC DoCoMo

docomophone.jpg

NTT DoCoMo has developed a Solar Hybrid Cell Phone that can be charged by the sun in addition to electricity. The series SH-08A is waterproof and features a 3.0" main display (480x854 pixels,) a HSDPA of 7.2Mbps, an 8MP CCD autofocus cam and SDHC card support of up to 16GB. This is definitely not the phone to give to a chatty kidlet. Ten minutes of recharging gives only about a minute of talk time. The phone will debut this September in Japan.
