Toyota Prius Cooled by Solar Module

The Toyota Prius, the eco-friendly car, gets friendlier all the time. Kyocera Corporation is providing multi-crystalline silicon solar cells that will control the car's ventilation system. It does so by using the electricity generated from the module to cool even when the car is parked. That means not having to get into an overheated car in the summer if you cannot park in the shade.
