Green Badge Wearable Solar Cell

greenbadge.jpg

Leon Zhu feels that solar powered cell phones aren't so practical as they are usually kept in a pocket when not in use. The designer's idea is to incorporate a solar cell module with a photo-electric conversion coat and an ultra-thin battery pack that can be worn or clipped to clothes or bags. The Green Badge harnesses the sun and stores it in its built-in necklace to power up those phones. It can also be used as a light source on its own.
