Site O' the Week: Louis Vuitton/Voltaic Solar Bag

lvsolarbag.jpg

Even designers can think green, as evidenced by this Louis Vuitton bag upgraded by Mark Farina to use a solar panel that can charge your LV 888 cell phone. Using a Voltaic solar panel kit, the bag features 1.3W solar panels and battery. Voltaic was so pleased with the idea that they put Farina's DIY instructions on their site. We are so pleased we made them our SOW this week. The project will cost you between $100.00 - $200.00, depending on the parts used.
